Crabble Folk Supper 15th December 2005

Friday nights bash at Crabble Corn Mill was as enjoyable as ever. A good turn out of singers and Terry stood out again as a class act, real talent there. Ravenshill performed some cracking tunes as well, not sure how their rendition of Slade’s ‘Merry Christmas’ went down with the organiser, but I loved it, and all the other performers made it another great night.
The Ramblin’ Boys sang, South East Cowboy and Sam Larner’s Happy and Delightful, only two songs this week as we had been warned that our sets were getting a bit on the long side, and when we checked into the timings we found that they were quite right and we had been over running by a considerable amount, tee hee sorry.
Next scheduled appearance of The Ramblin’ Boys will be Friday 26th January 2007 at The Star pub at St Mary's in the Marsh (a village inland from Dymchurch Kent) . We will be supporting, along with others, Johnny Collins a great exponent of the Sea Shanty. See you there???
