Crabble Headline 23rd Feb 2007

Greetings one and all, and thanks to you all for making last night such an enjoyable night.

There were so many good acts at the Mill last night, it made our finishing spot so much easier, and made the night so much fun.
Special thanks to Dave who organises the supper evenings so well, and sings a mean old shanty or three! Then there was Terry who is such a talent, and the contingency from Deal (sorry Avril) Paul, Colin and Sue, plus the two Jings John and Jim and of course there was Ravenhill, then there were all the other artists who all made the night such a pleasure.
All that talent in one night.
Don't forget the Beer Festival at the Mill http://crabblebeerfest.blogspot.com/2007/01/2007-third-beer-festival.html you'll find nore details here

And sorry Joy................................................................As offical photographer, you'll have to go
See you all very soon Ramblin'Stu

Preparation for Feb 23rd

All our attention is now focused on sharpening and honing our sets for Friday Feb 23rd when The Ramblin’ Boys will be headlining at the Crabble Folk Club. That sounds so much grander than ‘we are rehearsing our set a lot’ to make it as slick as we can.

What I can tell you Blog Spotters is that there will be two distinctive and diverse sets on Friday.

The first set featuring some classics songs although not true folk songs. However they are songs performed by folks, for folks. They are fun, and you can all join in, therefore that is good enough in our books.

The second set will feature Australian and American folk songs, and of course have your voices ready to join in ‘The South East Cowboy’

Look forward to seeing you there
